My second home Posted Monday, January 2, 2012 10:17 PM My second home would be about 10 minutes from my daughter, who lives in Calabasas, CA. Which would put me about 10 minutes away from two of my four grandchildren. The other two live in St. Louis, where I live. Or ... Calabasas could be my first home and St. Louis my second. RE: My second home Posted Saturday, January 14, 2012 11:16 PM My second home would be on the beach in Laguna (or close by). I would love to fall asleep each night to the sound of the waves, with the nice cool sea breeze...And my daughter and son-in-law would be less than one hour away. :)

RE: My second home Posted Tuesday, January 17, 2012 04:50 PM I would love to be on a beach but have too many sun spots from years of giving swim lessons. The mountains would be nice. But, since I am a new Grandmama I have to be near a hog farm in Eldon to see my Grandbebe. I can hold my nose while cleaning out the hog barn, carry germ x with me at all times, and take a lot of showers/do a lot of laundry if need be. Grandparenthood--- nothing better. |
