I tried to reply but all I got was a spinning icon.  The place was call Bag O Chcken, right between the Duchesne Launderette and Dunn Road Food Mart.  Going west was the Beauty Chateau, Derby Barber Shop, Ace Hardware on the end of the strip and at the corner of Florissant Road was Joe's Conoco.

Wasn't the laundramat called Helpee-Selfee? Wow I wonder if that's acceptable in our current PC world?

I thought the convenience store was called Handy Pantry. Was it called Dunn Road Food Mart when we went to McCluer? I know it was 2 other stores back in the 50's & 60's. Can anyone name the two original stores that was located in the space where Dunn Road Food Mart/Handy Pantry were?

Also, where Bag O' Chicken was, it later became Lovin' Oven for years. Then they moved down to Patterson Plaza at Humes & Patterson.
